This can certainly sound strange if you have never heard of zoats before. Zoats are a delicious way of sneakily adding veggies into your breakfast when you crave a warming bowl of porridge. Zoats are also a great low carbohydrate & high protein option because they are made up of egg whites, zucchini, and a small amount of rolled oats, along with some other ingredients.
I have a big family so family parties for holidays like Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Easter are always wonderful but also full of so many different types of foods. I used to struggle at these family parties, trying to eat so little and then having a taste of something sweet and going wild, binging on anything and everything.
In high school I got really into making smoothies. I had a “classic” smoothie I would always make which I still remember to this day: 1 cup water, 1 banana, 1/2 cup berries, & 1 cup spinach. It was always very tasty but I never knew anything about all of wonderful ways you could make a smoothie! This smoothie is probably my new “classic” smoothie, super simple, very nourishing, and absolutely delicious.
